Whether we are working to reimagine an old house for a modern family or fashion an innovative space for a growing company, the goal is always to achieve an honest expression of the people who will inhabit it.

Kristi lanE

Kristi Lane, founder and Managing Principal at Visible Proof, is trained in both architecture and interior design. As one of the founders and principal architects of 3North, she has worked in the field for more than two decades. Her expertise spans commercial and residential design around the country, but her mission is always the same: To marry innovative architecture and inspired design to create authentic, individualized expressions of her clients. Kristi received a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Environments at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Architecture in Interior Architecture at Auburn University. In addition, she is a certified interior designer in Virginia, NCIDQ certified by the American Society of Interior Designers, and is a member of the International Interior Design Association and Domestic Estate Managers Association. A mom of two children, she enjoys supporting the local nonprofit community, participating in Modern Richmond events, and finding new design inspirations while traveling. She resides with her husband in Richmond, Virginia.
